Welcome to the Punpedia entry on nut puns!Β 🌰Β 🥜Β 🔥
There are plenty of different types of nuts to make puns from, and we’ve done our best to cover them all here. There are different categories of seeds, fruit and legumes that are commonly recognised as nuts (like peanuts and almonds), so we’ve included those here too, along with other foods that are more versatile (like the coconut, which is considered a fruit, nut, and a seed).
Whether you’re here for some cheeky inneundos or a clever hashtag for your new vegan #nutbutter recipe, we hope to have you covered here. This list is specific to nuts – if you’re after related puns, we do also have general food puns, tree puns, avocado puns and fruit puns too.
A quick note that while puns about mental health and well-being areΒ very common in nut puns (eg. “Nutty as a fruitcake”), we haven’t included those here as they are ableist slurs, and we’d like to keep Punpedia friendly to as many people as possible π
