Wedding Puns

Welcome to the Punpedia entry on wedding puns! 💒 👰 💍

While the wedding industry is undeniably huge (spanning flowers, jewelry, music, clothing, food, tourism and more), we’ve spotted a gap in the market: wedding puns. While we wouldn’t advise you to write your vows using our list, we do hope you enjoy our collection of matrimonial jokes.

If you enjoy these puns, you may also enjoy our cake puns, wine puns and flower puns.

Note: We’ve tried to stay away from any religious aspects of weddings and marriage – if you find any, they’re accidental (please point them out!) We do also need to acknowledge that our list covers only a small and privileged aspect of what is largely a flawed and oppressive system that has roots in patriarchal values – while we can joke safely about weddings, child brides and forced marriages are still happening in many parts of the world. LGBT+ unions are also still illegal in many countries – visit this organisation for support, to learn more, or to donate.
